Nature’s Parlour was created to fulfil a need for top quality natural skin and hair care products. 

Launched in the autumn of 2007 by Xina Broderick, Nature’s Parlour was initially a solution to Xina’s own requirement to find good quality natural products which she could use for her own skin and hair.  Having made the choice to have natural (afro) hair, she decided to look for products which were natural and designed for her hair type.  At that point in time, most products for afro hair were centred on chemically straightened hair which Xina and her family had decided to move away from.  Those products geared towards natural afro hair had mineral oils and other inappropriate ingredients which would not only starve the scalp of oxygen and attract dust and dirt, but would also inhibit hair growth.

Xina came across some wonderful organic products which were being sold in the US and saw an opportunity to buy them in bulk and sell them on to friends and family who would benefit from using them.
